WHERE TIME STANDS STILL
est. 1938 - 1999

Another site that is soon to be demolished.  These pics were taken in spring of 2005.  This state facility was one of the first
Tuberculosis Sanitariums opened in the 1930's, was sold to a private company in the 1990's and eventually became a chronic care
facility.  On the grounds you can still find some cottages, a medical building, and some staff housing.

It's funny how my little mind can run wild.  I had this whole idea that these buindings were used for patient  housing.
WRONG, showed these to a friend and turns out she used to live here when she went to Bentley,  She had a lot of fun on
this road and did some pretty crazy - not in the mentally ill sense - shit.  Anyway, my descriptions are a little more accurate
based on her first hand knowledge.

 STAFF HOUSING

Co-ed cottage for Bentley students

Rec room for the chicks

Small student rooms equipped with motion detectors and tiny peep holes.
About 23 chicks lived on the first floor and the boys were on the second.

Used for janitorial supplies

All of the cottages had these cute little sun rooms with awful 1960's style carpet

Inside of the sun room

Back of the cottage

De ja vu from Skinner's Box - looks just like the medical building there
right down to the lamp post

Maintanance Building

with wheel chair graveyard and lots of pillows

Staff housing - one male and one female

She left quite a mess  in here, lots of food, beuty products, pictures, letters,
clothes, cat carrier, furniture, and a garage full of straight up TRASH.
