BREEDING  GROUND
1905 - 2004

Concerns regarding the hospitalization of a student with pulmonary problems attending this
school and
the potential connection with indoor air quality prompted a thorough  inspection
of the building.
Officials were  requested to examine classrooms for sources of microbial
(mold) growth and other potential factors
that could adversely affect indoor air quality.

The investigation revealed severe microbial growth throughout the building due to flooding.
The air
quality in the basement was so poor that shortly after the investigation commenced,
officials recommended
that the school no longer use the band room and classrooms in the
basement.  Other hazards cited were poor
ventilation, particulation in the air, and a kiln that
emits carbon dioxide.

At present the city is accepting bids to develop this property into another goddamn
condominium complex..
